Ecco was looking for a mobile-first learning solution that prepares new employees for working at one of the ECCO shoe stores.
The history of ECCO, the categories of the products, the expected position and attitude in the shop, everything was incorporated in this mobile-first pre-boarding!
Before new employees start their new job in one of the ECCO stores, ECCO wanted to provide some important information to their new employees. They wanted to offer the information to their employees through mobile phones, since this is one of the most commonly used devices.
One of the criteria of ECCO was that the learning solution could easily be translated to 5 other languages.
An important part of this process was to find the most efficient collaboration strategy for both parties. This was even more important than usual, because ECCO wanted to incorporate a large amount of content in their learning solution. We aimed to develop short, attractive and effective e-learning modules, as one of the wishes of ECCO was to develop a mobile-first learning solution. We devoted a lot of attention to the development of creative, and clear, digital interactions that would convey the rich history of ECCO and their product categories.
We developed a learning solution with three main focus points. The focus points were divided in smaller short e-learning modules. We consider the close collaboration with ECCO as a big plus during this project, because it made the delivery of content and writing the storyboards efficient and fun! After the development of the English modules, we also translated and delivered the modules to ECCO in Danish, German, French, Chinese and Japanese.
